RAIN EFFECT

Picture

Picture
Rain effect was achieved by suspending a soaker hose inside a PVC pipe.  The PVC pipe had a slit at the bottom to allow the water to fall in an uneven pattern.  This unit was then mounted to a line set.
The trough was created by using a raked unit which would funnel the water to an offstage well.  The well was equipped with a sump pump and would allow the water to be pumped back up to the hose, creating a circular system with no waist.
To alleviate the splatter of falling drops, a screen was installed over the trough to break up the water drops.
